Everything I do in my own home when it comes to styling is kept within a pretty strict budget, with the exception of good quality, and timeless, furniture. I know i'm going to eventually tire of styles I like today.
So when I walked past the newly opened Daiso Japan on Hunter Street, Sydney on my way to work last Monday, I knew I had to make time to visit during the week. Two trips into the store later, here i am, and i'm pretty excited.
And it gets better - everything in the store is A$2.80.
There is heaps of junk, but stroll through patiently and there are so many pretty and functional storage solutions, kitchenware, bags, gorgeous wrapping paper, boxes, colourful filing folders, candles, laundry and cleaning equipment, and pretty delicious dried mango - just to add to the random mix of things you'll find in store.
I photographed a few of the things that stuck out to me, and i walked away with a cute floral garden shovel for my vege patch and some funky patterned stockings to wear to work.
